The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is the latest government benefits program operated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to grant low-income Americans no cost monthly broadband service and a tablet.
ACP services and devices are subject to consumer eligibility, provider participation, product availability, and approval by the FCC/Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC). The ACP was launched on December 31, 2021, and replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program. Subscribers enrolled in the EBB as of December 31, 2021 may keep their EBB benefit for 60 days and must transition to the ACP benefit on March 1, 2022, if eligible.

If you’re interested in ACP benefits, you may qualify by participating in government benefits programs such as:

• Lifeline
• SNAP
• Medicaid or MediCal
• SSI
• Federal Public Housing
• Assistance
• Veterans and Survivors
• Pension Benefits Fund
• Free school lunch program and more

You may also qualify if your total household income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines or unemployment.

You need to have verified documents with application from that department you are using. If using your Social Security benefits, you need paperwork with benefits from Social Security Office. If using SNAP/ Food Stamps, you need paperwork with case number and your name on the statement from department of social services.
You can provide any one of the following –

• Government offer letter
• Participation certificates
• Benefit award letter

If you qualify on an income basis, you will need a government source document showing your annual income statement.
You can submit one of the following documents –

• Current income statement or a paycheck stub
• A retirement/pension statement of benefits
• An Unemployment/Workmen’s Compensation Statement of benefits
• A Social Security statement of benefits
• A Veteran Administration statement of benefits (VA cards alone are not accepted)
• Last year’s state, federal, or tribal tax return

To verify your eligibility. You need a valid social security number. You are only supplying the last 4 digits. All your information is used for verification purposes of the ACP program only. We do not sell or use your private information to any third party companies or marketing firms.

The student/adult forms are to be filled out by parent/guardian of 18+ and not a student – one application per student. Parents cannot submit multiple applications for every kid under their name. Additional adult sponsors will be needed for additional children.
